  1. Sorry I didn't. In the end I just returned the item to the seller because it was different from the one listed (which was an actual MXQ Pro and not a fake one).
  2. @b13I'm interested in what image you tried. I'm in a similar boat as you, with a board that has eMCP with LPDDR3 running at 336Mhz. I've done the same steps as you mentioned here without success.
  3. It seems like I'm still unable to boot, even with a custom u-boot I made, making sure that the RAM configuration is correct. Can anyone confirm that the following options are correct? CONFIG_DRAM_CLK=336 CONFIG_DRAM_ZQ=3750393 CONFIG_DRAM_TYPE=7 Those are based on the bootlog I've posted previously. I'm using the configuration for the OrangePi PC which has similar hardware. The error I get is DRAM: 0MiB
  4. Here's the bootlog taken from the serial port: https://pastebin.com/ctKEHm3m EDIT: ok, I basically have the same issue as this: Is there any chance a maintainer could add to the community repository a version with u-boot configured for LPDDR3 running at 336Mhz (DRAM value: 003939f9)?
  5. The board is marked as MXQ-HX-V2.0. CPU: Allwinner H3 DDR: 1GB LPDDR3 HS400 ROM: 8GB eMCP (both DDR and eMMC are on the same eMCP chip) Wi-Fi: sv6256p LAN: ?? (100Mb) Here's a picture: Before I start soldering the headers for the serial port and start debugging myself... has anyone any idea if there are compatible images among the ones already available? I've already tried: Beelink X2 Orange Pi PC Orange Pi PC + Orange Pi Zero Sunvell R69 and none of these worked. Thanks!
  6. A terrible suspicion came to me right as I was writing the previous post, so I did a quick cat /proc/cpuinfo... and it has an H3 CPU. Everything that was written on the box and on the eBay auction was completely off. It looks like this one: Apologies for wasting your time, I'll go and try out another image for the correct CPU!
  7. Just tried rebooting using "reboot update" via a terminal emulator on Android and with the Armbian image in the SD card slot it booted back to Android, but with the Multiboot image it gave me a green screen... and that was pretty much it. At this point I'm a bit scared to proceed and try to wipe the eMMC since I can't test Armbian by booting it from the SD card 😐
  8. Looks like this board doesn't like booting from the SD. I've tried booting both Multitool and the latest Armbian image and both time it just booted into Android. When powering on while keeping the uboot button hidden in the AV connector it just doesn't do anything, black screen.
  9. Sorry for the late reply, it looks like I'm allowed only one post per day due to bot/spam prevention measures. The board is marked as MXQ-HX-V2.0 and has a sv6256p wifi chip which means no wi-fi for me (not that I really needed it, but still...) Here's a picture: I can clearly see the serial port pads marked between the USB and SPDIF connector so I should be fine if anything goes pear shaped. Still, I'd feel more comfortable knowing if there's been any test done on this board. I don't need video output or anything else as this is going to be the DNS server of my local network (Pi-Hole, DNSCrypt and all that jazz), but I'd really appreciate not having to sacrifice an SD to hold the rootfs and, more importantly, the ethernet MUST work.
  10. Hello, I've just bought a TV Box with RK3229 which has a Kingston 08EMCP08-NL3DT227 8GB eMMC + 1GB DDR3 eMCP chip. I've read that and wanted to know if this is still the case, even with the nightly builds found at https://github.com/armbian/community Thanks!
