There is a bunch of posts about how to to name your interfaces permanently.

I have 2 usb interfaces. The enx* interface is a cell connection and wlx* is wifi. It looks like the route metrics are causing all the traffic to go through the cell modem? Where is the route metric configured and how can I change these in a general way?
