  1. @pixdrift could indicate a armbian build compile for pi zero 3? Thank you.
  2. Hi, I already use tvbox with rk3228 chipset , and now, i buyed a Orange pi zero 3, arrived yesterday, i make a card with "Armbian_23.08.0-trunk_Orangepizero3_bookworm_current_6.1.31-1GB-2GB.img.xz", this work, i don't have MicroHDMI cable, i use by SSH, I need use Debian Buster, i did image with "armbian_build-0f9820ff2238ab15fdbfef9adfefca47b031a757.zip" it's work but no audio driver ! Alsamixer don't open, no sound! The audio driver only work in last debian version? This board is new, debian buster can install audio driver? Thank you!
  3. @Bert Kortenbach " shut down the box a few times by unplugging it", it's can corrupt file system structure, but I think you may have a hardware problem, cold soldering in BGA or even the memory has damaged sectors! These boxes do not have good manufacturing quality, you cannot trust them, so try using the system via the SDcard, if the problem still persists, it could be the chipset, then it is better to replace this box!
  4. @Bert Kortenbach, In many attempts that I had on my box, I even thought that the memory chip had burned out! It's memory lock , I had to clean it using rkdeveloptool, the only way that worked was to first make the system run properly on the SDCARD and then use the armbian-install command, after that, the system is running on the box without problems, I make the backup with multitools, and the restoration works fine too, this image generated by this process also works normally on my older box! After a lot of work, trial and error, a lot of help from people here, everything is working fine in my boxes!
  5. Hi @Bert Kortenbach, I don't know this "walnut pi 1b" but sound good, I bought an orange pi zero 3 and I'm waiting for to arrive, it's very cheap and uses the H618 chip! About buying on Aliexpress, I already bought a rk3228a box, but an S805 arrived! I discovered that, although the ad says rk3228A, they send what is in the "SPECIFICATIONS" item, when I bought another one, I looked at this and it came right! When I looked at what was wrong (s085), in the "specifications" it was s805, so I couldn't complain! Even so, I believe they are not trustworthy in sending the right item! I wanted to buy just the board, but they only sell it complete tvbox ! I have an old TX3 mini and it works well, but it doesn't install in the internal memory(NAND), it uses the S905 chip, the biggest advantage is that it is 64 bits and comes with 2GB of RAM!
  6. Hi @Bert Kortenbach and @Arthur Ferraz, I did have the same problem with mine MXQ_R2B_LP3 board, (this box is like R29 with other wiifi chip), I want to share my experiences with you, it worked after the great help I received here, it could help you too! I followed @jock 's instructions but for the hdmi to work, it had to be the Armbian_23.08.0-trunk_Rk322x-box_bookworm_edge_6.5.5_minimal.img.xz image, I installed it on an SD card, as soon as I boot, the hdmi image doesn't appear, I went used SSH and configured rk322x-config led-conf-7, then reboot, and it worked! But even so, I had problems recording on the emmc, in my case it was an emcp, when I recorded the image using multiboot, the box got a black screen! The only way I managed to install it on emmc was by booting from the SD and then using the armbian-install command, then the box worked normally, then I made the modifications, installed the graphical environment, booted with multiboot and made a backup, Then this image restores normally in the box! So in short, you have to have Armbian updated, kernel 6.5, and install using the armbian-install command! I hope this information is useful! About Leds, the blinking yellow led means that the system has booted and is working! Good luck, I hope everything goes well!
  7. Hi @N3o, I use a HDMI to VGA adapter, and the last box mine did not worked HDMI in PC monitor too! I do compared the old box and the new and the HDMI pin 18, is +5 volts power supply, in the case, is the way power the VGA adapter, in the new box, it didn't have the +5v ! I solder a jumper to +5v from a capacitor near the chipset! I'm technic, it's is simples to I do! Can you verify with a multimeter, if have the +5v? This it can to be the problem!
  8. @baryon I too so happy and grateful, to everyone, the maintainers this project, the box in many place are used to tv signal pirated, here it's so many uses and a good alternative to expensive raspberry pi! Thank you!!!
  9. Hi @jock, the buster with 6.5 kernel, work fine, but hdmi work after set led pin in 7, how you already said! I did too, a legacy version with Building Armbian and work, but HDMI only with rk322x-box.dtb from multitool, it's same kernel version! I stay test both version. I, again, say thank you all to help-me! log-dmesg-debian-buster-kernel-6.5.txt
  10. @jock, @fabiobassa and @MattWestB, Update! I did update armbian in sdcard, install lxde, did @jock institutions, and did image file and install with multitool in internal memory and work, boot and hdmi ! Now, it have debian 12 in internal and debian 10 legacy in mine personalized card, all work! @jock and @fabiobassa, because it to be a emcp, i can't user the Buster older, in internal memory, kernel limitation? I use a program that only install in debian 10 or ubuntu 16, Can I install new kernel in debian buster? Thank you! log-dmesg-lxde-MXQ-R2B.txt
  11. @joke, Ok, I followed your instructions, and hdmi worked after setting the led to 7, there is dmesg! The @MattWestB box, erased internal memory, it do boot from card or usb, but mine, only multiboot sdcard work! To boot Armbian SDcard, I write multiboot image in the internal memory, without card, multiboot initialise, with sdcard, it boot normalite! If i to write other image, new or older or legacy, in internal memory, it breaks box, only maskmod and rkdeveloptool to recovery! log-dmesg-MXQ-R2B.txt
  12. @fabiobassa, @jock and @MattWestB, I understand all, i don't post more, to don't mix up thinks, because my box don't is the same that R29, but it have same troubles! I'm glad with progress of R29, and i stay read the posts and I learned a lot of things here! Thank you!
  13. @jock and @MattWestB, I did too, a fast test in my MXQ_R2B_LP3, i replaced only rk322x-box.dtb from Multitool in my sdcard with my configuration, i use Armbian Buster legacy, and HDMI worked! Yet couldn't install it in emmc! Thank you very much for your dedication and commitment, I would like to help more, but I don't have that ability!
  14. @Daraz Season I upload it for you! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1chrBXzLiuquS1zeviy4ctN4yM7eJfHpF/view?usp=sharing
