Not sure if this is helpful, but the Quartz64A also uses an RK3566 (and some other shared hardware like the RK817 PMIC/Codec) and has a working build available which might provide some insight: https://www.armbian.com/quartz64a/ Of course the DTS file file for this would still be different, but it might be a closer match than the Rock3A.
