Hello, I am trying to use the UART-C pins (15 for RX, 16 for TX, 17 for GND), and I am facing the same issue 😕 Does someone know how to properly enable UART on those pins in Armbian on the VIM3 (pro) please?

My monitor is a Dell 27 Monitor - S2721DS (2560 x 1440, 59.95 Hz) With Bookworm, I could use the display once when booting from the SD card, but then after installing on EMMC and rebooting the system the screen would only display the Armbian loading screen, and then go black (I had to login via the linux serial console). I tried to plug the SD card back in and reboot, but screen still black. Then I tried with Jammy on the SD card, and directly after setting up username/password/etc I got the same issue: Armbian loading screen, then black screen. As a matter of fact I don't need the display so I'll try the CLI version for now.

Hello, I am trying the same with a VIM3 Pro right now. First I flashed Armbian_23.8.1_Khadas-vim3_bookworm_current_6.1.50_cinnamon_desktop.oowow to an SD card and booted from that, which worked, including the display. Then I installed it on the EMMC (using armbian-install), which still boots (I can connect via the linux serial console), but I confirm the HDMI display doesn't work anymore when booting from the EMMC.
