@pixdrift The build I was using was one of your newer ones, tested by editing the dtb in armbian config. To check if gpu works, I tested with lsmod and Supertuxkart, works fine.

Any reason why the mali gpu node is disabled by default (i.e. status is not set to 'okay')? https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/patch/kernel/archive/sunxi-6.7/patches.armbian/arm64-dts-sun50i-h618-orangepi-zero3-Enable-GPU-mali.patch
I have successfully tested 3D acceleration on Zero3, seems to be working fine.
