  3. he! i also have no interest in fixing this, since my todo list is full of important real life problems to fix. so i literally already have work for years in my free time. so someone else should step in.
  4. so it should be fixed with our PR in 24.8.0-trunk.596, right?
  5. btw i personally never shorted any pins ever on my box. for me ALWAYS worked: while powercyle push an hold the reset button for 10 sec or so. then the bootloader comes up. maybe its not in mask rom mode then you have to switch to it via rockchip dev tool
  6. @xuandat09 i dont use windoze systems so I am not helpfull with the windows version of the devtools. on linux there is a command to switch boot modes.
  7. try the official community 24.8.0.trunk. it conotains also a gnome destop flavour for h96.
  8. i alread have armian running. just want to ad the reader for fun. hmmm....the soldering was very good, so i guess its maybe the cheap chinese sdcard socket. i have still 9 left to try 😡 now i go with the hot gun....
  9. @pessimism hmm....i got i beautuifull soldert on there but sill get the error. maybe there is a modul missing? 10. @pessimism have u something else connected to get the sdcard reader running? i only get "cant read partiontion table" errors.
  11. 8GB RAM in a little "underpowered" TV box is hughe, imho. Plenty of RAM. Eg many NAS only have a fraction of it.
  12. oh. sorry didnt notice that it was a X6 version he was asking for. @loi xin this thing is 135€ in germany and imho not worth it. the v56 is much cheaper with the same functionallity (but "only" having single WIFI). so imho if u have the chance to send it back, replace it with the v56 unit if u can. then u have a ready to go unit. @Hqnicolas opened a topic for the H96 MAX M9 RK3576 TV Box 8G/128G which i find the much more interesting unit, with much more power. but the pricing of this unit (top notch) is holding me back right now.
  13. 👆👆👆 this is also true for this RAM/EMMC version
