    hello everyone, based on research done here in this thread and on some others in coreelec forum i got this board to run edge armbian with kernel 7.3. you can build it from source here: https://github.com/sickplanet/armbian-rk3528-h96-max/tree/h96max-mainline-port i got everything working: wifi bluetoorh hdmi display/clock audio jack spdif usb2/3 gui xfce hardware encode/decode. enjoy!
