Okay, it seems I missed something; supposedly the Orange Pi 0 +2 H3 image does boot on the NEW Sunvell (R69) H3 2Gb Ram, 16GB Rom image (NAND will not work obviously). However, it boots without USB, ethernet, wifi... basically anything but HDMI and UART. So obviously need to get fex figured out but I guess I at least got it booting. Still looking for any suggestions from anyone that has it running well already.
Will update as I make more progress...
@Matthew Hodgson Please realize there is 2 different R69's now, the old one, yes you could run almost any image and the Beelink X2 image worked, so did H3Droid out of the box. Problem here is, this new box is not the same. It uses NAND storage and it seems has some very specific configurations needed in the fex which are custom (thinking possibly very low DRAM settings or some specific setting in the fex that is only available in the OPi Zero +2 image). It is either you are thinking of that box or you got a different revision as I spent hours trying to get different images booting and the only success I had was the OPi Zero +2 H3 Armbian image and that only works somewhat with most of the peripherals missing.
Since I am still working to make it work with H3Droid, at least that is my goal, I welcome any feedback which may help and will be sure to update here as I make progress.
Cheers!
Hi - Heres a photo of my Sunvell H3 board if that helps you - thanks

Let me no if I can provide any info to see if we can get more Sunvell H3 boards working with Armbian etc - Had Retrorangepi working using the Beelink X2 image also.

I can run everything I have tried on this box - Hardware looks pretty much identical to the X2

Ok so here's my exact steps - I still think I am missing a step
This is for Balbes150 latest armbian release for the MXQ S805
Write image to SD card using Win32disk
Open SD card and drop DTB file from the DTB folders provided, onto root of SD card, rename dtb files 'meson8b-hd180.dtb' to dtb.img'
Place SD card into MXQ and toothpick to start the initial boot
Nothing happens 'waited 5-10 mins' also tried various other DTB files that are available
Any input would be greatly received
Many thanks for your hard work on this

Hi - thanks guys have tried the new X2 update of Armbian on my board, originally they wouldn't show anything on screen with the previous version -
On the V3.1.1 board I have
I see that it states kernal modules aren't loaded when going through script - unsure if that helps - it also ends up stopping with this on screen

I assume you have a home network and a router?
When the Beelink X2 boots it tries to get an IP-address from your router. You can enter the routers menu and check which IP-address is assigned to the Beelink X2. Check for DHCP client list or similar in the router menu.
When you know the IP-address of the Beelink X2 you can try to reach it from another computer in your home network for example your desktop PC. Ping is a command that checks if there is network connectivity between two computers. Ssh is a way of remotely logging in to another computer. Armbian is by default configured so that you can connect to it via ssh.
Right I understand - Have connected the device to the router, unfortunately their is nothing displayed by my router regarding the device

That seems to correspond to the same two versions I have. The X2H3**** is the older version using the brcmdhd wifi driver. The A2H3**** is a newer version using the 8189es wifi driver. Both of these should run perfectly with Armbian.
I always run my Beelink X2:s headless without display and keyboard, just using ssh to login to commandline so I don't really know if there is som kind of problem with the display output. I guess I have to test that some day.
When you say the second boot fails, have you tested to see if it responds to ping? Did you try to login via ssh? Do you have anything connected to the USB ports when it fails?
Hi - Nothing connected to the X2 USB when first booting, would it make any difference if connecting anything - Also burned the IMG again and this time the light turns Purple/Red but nothing is displayed on screen this time around
Sorry for a noob question, when you say SSH or Ping how can I do that without a network connection
Thanks

Hi - Have being trying a number of different images for the H3 CPU on the beelink X2, the Nanopi-m1 Ubuntu Mate image boots up and works although no WIFI etc- I have finally tried the Armbian beelink X2 image and although initially it loads up, it fails on second boot with no output with a purple/blue light on the box.
Wondering if anyone has a fix or if their is just to many variants of the X2 board for it to work every time.
Thanks for your time
