Thanks for the solution! I had the same problem with my Orange PI PC and the RTL8188CUS module. The system randomly crashed after connecting the wireless module. Also there was a problem with connecting to the WPA2-PSK network. Replacing the kernel module with https://github.com/pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes solved the problem. The actual connection speed is nearly 30-40 MBit/s
