Thanks for your prompt replies tkaiser and Igor. @Igor I am a bit confused by the phrase "wait until next image rebuild which is almost the same as Beta or DIY" Are you saying I should avoid using the Armbian_5.24.161121_Nanopim1_Ubuntu_xenial_3.4.113.7z image ?. ​"Next image rebuild" would mean a newer beta version, or beta becomes "standard" image, or both ?. Sorry if these are stupid questions.

Is there a Xenial image for NanoPi M1, or a way to “easily†build one ?. I see here https://www.armbian.com/nanopi-neo/ that there is a Xenial image for NanoPi Neo. I am asking because I would like to run HQPlayer's Network Audio Adapter on my NanoPi M1. And this doesn't run on Debian Jessie legacy as it needs libstdc++6 (>=5.2), but it does run on a NanoPi Neo with Xenial. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Hi Kevin, I am trying to get I2S Slave mode working. I have I2S Master mode working, but I do not know how to select / enable Slave mode. Can you shed any light on that ?. Thanks.

I am trying to get I2S playback working. I have edited the script.bin to activate the pcm0 interface and aplay -l shows the interface is active. But when I try to playback audio I see no data on any of the signal lines with a scope. Did you have to load any additional modules to activate playback or just tweak the parameters in script.bin ?. Could you post a copy of the parameters you used in the script.bin for the pcm interface. Thanks.
