  1. I want to use 2 USB micro-B Y cables for my 2 HDD's. I'll give power to one-of usb Y cable ports from another USB power source (not from Orange Pi Plus 2e). But I understand that external power source will give backpower to Orange's USB ports. I need to use only USB DATA pins with Orange. Are there any risks for Orange Pi if it is backpowered from USB ports ? Any protection for backpower in USB port electronics/architecture ? I'm not sure whether I have to cut +5 V wire only going to Orange USB port and only permit this voltage to HDD's side or not ?
  2. Hi, I use Banana Pro (armbian installed). I have no problem at all after installing Armbian. Previous OS was Raspbian and it was slow for homeserver ops. (I thing GUI was default). Nowadays, looking for a new but fast SBC. I am not interested in any video applications and components and such as Kodi, XMBC, H.265, 1080p, high resolution. I will not use it as desktop. Ä°t will serve only for my home network for DLNA server, DHCP server, Web proxy (like Squid), web filtering (SquidGuard), torrent ops. and web reporting (w/ Apache or any other). Especially web browsing is a little bit slower over Squid and Squidguard. Ä°f this is CPU, memory or any kind source issue, which SBC can be suitable for my requirements ? For example, if I buy a new one with 2 GB memory with more powerful CPU, web-surf performance boost will be observable or not ? If so, which SBC for headless usage ? Thanks.
