Soory for the delayed response on this I was away for a bit. I used the mainline image as well with no problems.

I am hitting the same bug on the M2. This was working about a month ago and at some point stopped so I loaded a different image from BPI site with no problems. Adjusting "clk_ignore_unused" in kernel command line is something I haven't done before (based on a quick I search I did). Anyone have a link I could use to see how to do this? I'll try anything Thanks.

SOLVED - I had downloaded the PcDuino3 instead of the PcDuino Nano image. Ethernet interface came up fine! Sorry for any confusion.

Hello, I just updated my pcduino3 nano with armbian mainline 4.9.7 download on SD card and now the onboard ethernet port fials. I am using a USB to ethernet for now with no problems. Below are the messages I get during boot Feb 22 14:35:23 localhost kernel: [ 2435.162554] sun7i-dwmac 1c50000.ethernet: Failed to reset the dma Feb 22 14:35:23 localhost kernel: [ 2435.168668] stmmac_hw_setup: DMA engine initialization failed Feb 22 14:35:23 localhost kernel: [ 2435.174517] stmmac_open: Hw setup failed I have tried several times to reset via cli and NetworkManager with the same results. ip a & ip link show as down seen in ifconfig but not able to change state I am guessing the fix wil need to be during boot. Anyone run into this? Thanks for any help here! Dave
