Would you mind sharing all the details on your software setup? I'm trying to test driving ws2812 from the SPI on a Orange Pi zero and having no luck. Generally, I can't figure out how to enable the SPI port. spidev isn't in /dev. Now I'm a noob, and have no idea what device tress are or how to edit/compile them. I'm using the ubuntu nightly image from here: https://dl.armbian.com/orangepizero/nightly/
