  1. I reinstalled it one more time and now the problem is gone. It is stange, but I am happy with it. Thanks for your ideas/help.
  2. @arox Previously I though the same, so I double checked it. I don't find any problem with DNS, NFS or Wifi. Plus I can connect to the HB without any problem. @zador.blood.stained I use SPDIF what connects to DAC. in meantime I tested it with Volumio "distro", there is no delay in this case. Volumio based on Jessie 8.7 also.
  3. MPD is a music player daemon what runs on the hummingboard (connection via LAN to the router). I connect from ipad via wifi to the MPD. it happens almost all the time. Sometimes if I press the play-stop-play one after another there is no delay.
  4. Maybe someone has an idea what the problem is... So I use the latest armbian with kernel 4.9.18. I installed mpd+mpc on it and mounted nfs share with fstab. Everything is working fine but if i press the play button from my phone/tablet actually the playing starts just after 30 sec. it is exactly 30 sec. I have no idea what can cause this delay.
  5. One more thing. Could you please turn on this setting "# CONFIG_DRM_DW_HDMI_AHB_AUDIO" is not set "? There is no audio support through HDMI without it. Thanks! card 2: DWHDMI [DW-HDMI], device 0: DW HDMI [dw-hdmi-ahb-audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
  6. Here is the log: http://sprunge.us/VFjP Thanks!
  7. It is a pcie card. I dont know. It is strange. root@cubox-i:~# lspci 00:00.0 PCI bridge: Synopsys, Inc. Device abcd (rev 01) 01:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1030 [Rainbow Peak] (rev 34) root@cubox-i:~# lsusb Bus 002 Device 003: ID 8086:0189 Intel Corp. Bus 002 Device 002: ID 04b4:6570 Cypress Semiconductor Corp. Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub pci.txt
  8. it is strange, because it works for me with these settings. I have a wifi/bt card on it and works like a charm. "Freescale i.MX6 PCIe controller" depends on "Message signaled Interrupts (MSI and MSI-X)".
  9. hi Igor, It was fixed on the 4.9.17/18. Could you please add this two options to the next kernel? Unfortunately there is no pcie support on the hummingboard. Bus support > Message signaled Interrupts (MSI and MSI-X) Bus support > PCI host contoller drivers > Freescale i.MX6 PCIe controller Thanks, Warter
  10. Hi, I have an issue on my hummingboard i2ex. I installed mpd and configured it with SPDIF. The kernel is 4.9.12-cubox. Unfortunately the sound looks strange. It sounds like a slow motion recording. The load is very load (<0.2) so I think it is not a performance problem. I saw there was an issue with the SPDIF previously but it is a little bit different. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Is it possible to test it your side? Thanks, Warter
  11. hi Igor, I installed the latest 4.9.12-cubox kernel from armbian repo. It seems there is no pcie support in the kernel and the sound part is also lack of some points. Is it possible to turn on the following settings in the next kernel version? For pcie: Bus support > Message signaled Interrupts (MSI and MSI-X) Bus support > PCI host contoller drivers > Freescale i.MX6 PCIe controller For sound: Device Drivers > Sound card support > Advanced Linux Sound Architecture > ALSA for SoC audio support > SoC Audio for Freescale CPUs > SoC Audio support for i.MX boards with sgtl5000 Thanks, Warter
