  1. I was wrong, thank you for telling me how to check it Now MD5 hashes match (2f0fb2eeed6055a12dd8f5cdaed2fdc2 it's the value). Unfortunately the problem remains unresolved. I have tried editing '/etc/rc.local' by myself and I've managed to run with the desired configuration. As the problem seems like it can't be reproduced, it may be something very particular of my environment. Probably with a fresh reinstallation it would be solved. So, unless others report the same problem, I suggest not continuing with this issue. Thanks!
  2. Installation is recent and updated. I really haven't yet started playing with it, so I can't say something special to be able to reproduce this. Apparently whenever I use h3consumption with any of its options the previous content of /etc/rc.local is removed, so the last actions are reset to their default value. For instance, when I use sudo h3consumption -c 1 (and after restart). Then I apply sudo h3consumption - d 408, reboot, and the new content is:
  3. Looks like you missed this post, could you take a look?
  4. In my case the problem occurs when I try to change DRAM speed and the number of active cores as though they were incompatible with each other. I attach the output of the terminal and /var/log/armhwinfo.log.
  5. I've tried restarting my router to see what the behavior was and the connection hasn't been recovered. Consequently I had to turn off the power (something unwanted) and at restart it has connected again.
  6. Something similar happens to me with an Orange Pi Lite. Not all changes are made and it seems as if some are reversing others (for example DRAM speed and number of active cores).
  7. I finally tried it with another USB cable and everything worked without problems. I should have followed the recommendations before posting a topic Thanks anyway!
  8. Hello, I'm starting in this world with an Orange Pi Lite, but I'm not being able to perform the initial setup using serial console gadget on the OTG port. To prevent power problems, I'm using the DC input. Unfortunately I haven't found enough information to make the configuration on a Linux PC, since I wasn't able to know the /dev address to connect through screen. You've probably noticed that my knowledge of Linux is rather scarce. Thanks in advance!
  9. Try using h3consumption -g on|off option (disabling GPU/HDMI). More info can be found here.
  10. Hello @tkaiser, I find it really interesting the work you've been done to make armbian more IoT-oriented (monitoring and reducing consumption particularly). I'm getting into the SBCs world and my first choice was an Orange Pi Lite some weeks ago. I thought it would be fairly easy to add a battery backup to guarantee clean shutdowns in case of power outage, but I recently learned the importance of PMIC/PMU as other boards have. So now it's time to look for a solution since I wouldn't want to opt for a more expensive board and discard the OPi Lite (as a student, my budget is quite reduced). I have thought of using an AXP209 equipped device as C.H.I.P or OLinuXino A10 and powering the Lite through a USB (or micro USB) port. C.H.I.P seems ideal to act as an UPS due to its lower price (plus onboard Wi-Fi and NAND storage). Also in theory it can supply up to 1000 mA -whereas OLinuXino being limited up to 500 mA- in its micro USB port, but I am still not sure of this. Do you have any experience with similar approaches or maybe I should look for other solutions? On the other hand, is it possible to power an Orange Pi (in this case Lite) through its micro USB port? According to Xunlong's page no, but I have read contradictory information. And at last but not least: if it is turned off, when the power is restored to the micro USB port (in case of being able to use it as DC-IN) it automatically turns on as it happens when we use the power jack? e Lite Of course this isn't only aimed at tkaiser, I would appreciate any kind of help. Thanks in advance!
