Brirth year, 1948 in country Victoria, Australia. Moved to Melbourne 1956.  Joined Australian Government employment at Defence Standards Laboratories  1966. Part-time Education degrees in Appplied Chemistry and Computer Science.   Remained in said employment in various capacities 41 years while those labs changed to a research footing and became Defence Science and Technology Organisation.  Became interested in electronics in about 1964 in relation to radio control of model aircraft.  Did a course on Fortran programming at Preston Tech. in 1967 (on punched cards) and became hooked on programming.

As time marched on, put together many microprocessor devices including my own design CP/M computer using 8 inch floppy discs.  When IBM PC clones became available, ran a hobby business from my garage assembling and selling desktop computers.
