  1. update: the 5.59.180828 nightly building version may display a error temperature degree。 test real temperature using a thermometer ,two version display the same degree in thermometer about 49degree idle。 1. same board:orange pi zero plus v1.1,same room temp. 2. armbian 5.59.180828 nightly , idle cpu temp. about:49 degree. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to ARMBIAN 5.59.180828 nightly Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.67-sunxi64 Linux opizeroh5 4.14.67-sunxi64 #85 SMP Tue Aug 28 10:55:16 CEST 2018 aarch64 GNU/Linux Stop monitoring using [ctrl]-[c] Time CPU n/a load %cpu %sys %usr %nice %io %irq CPU 12:30:54: --- 0.00 1% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.4°C 12:31:00: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.2°C 12:31:05: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.4°C 12:31:10: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.2°C 12:31:15: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.5°C 12:31:20: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.0°C 12:31:25: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 48.9°C 12:31:30: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.0°C 12:31:35: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 48.6°C 12:31:40: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.0°C 12:31:45: --- 0.00 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 49.4°C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.   2. run armbian-config. in menu system-->switch -->switch to dev kernel . or night building kernel . the system will download and switch to new kernel.
  3. I compared two boards (opi zero h3 and opi zero plus h5) and found that cpu pins for 26 gpio are the same . so I modify the code in wiringPi about cpu detection to force return true value . and it works. the step: 1. git clone https://github.com/xpertsavenue/WiringOP-Zero 2. modify the code in WiringOP-Zero/wiringPi/wiringPi.c (or using the attached file to replace)。 3. make && make install 4. run "gpio readall " to test 5. run "gpio write 30 1" (the red-led on, wiringpi pin 30 control red-led status). wiringPi.c
  4. board: orange pi zero plus (CPU H5) os: power on idle current is about 0.25A。 after poweroff the currtent rise to about 0.35A 。 and got error message on console: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [ OK ] Reached target Shutdown. [67908.295169] reboot: Power down INFO: PSCI Affinity Map: INFO: AffInst: Level 0, MPID 0x0, State ON INFO: AffInst: Level 0, MPID 0x1, State ON INFO: AffInst: Level 0, MPID 0x2, State ON INFO: AffInst: Level 0, MPID 0x3, State ON ERROR: PSCI system shutdown: still alive ... ----------------------------------------------------------------------
  5. I got opi zero H2+ 512Mb , v1.4 and install armbian 5.35 debian. The board display -20 degree temperature in idle state. i think maybe 20degree really.(adding 40) i run a test using ffmpeg encoding about 2 hour。 the temperature about 30degree(really 70degree) but the system is stable。
  6. 1. hardware: orange pi zero /H2+ 512Mb 2. armbianmonitor -m got a negative temperature number。 Time CPU load %cpu %sys %usr %nice %io %irq CPU C.St. 17:34:31: 240MHz 0.10 1% 1% 0% 0% 0% 0% -16°C 0/7 17:34:36: 240MHz 0.09 1% 1% 0% 0% 0% 0% -16°C 0/7 17:34:41: 240MHz 0.09 1% 1% 0% 0% 0% 0% -16°C 0/7 3. uname -a Linux opizero 3.4.113-sun8i #4 SMP PREEMPT Wed Nov 22 13:45:28 CET 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux 4. using image Armbian_5.35_Orangepizero_Debian_jessie_default_3.4.113.7z
