  1. @guidol @raschid what an amazing job! i hope some day we will have mainline kernel and armbian on our device! keep it up!
  2. i've tried to compile default, next, dev branches — no go, default does not compiles, dev branch and next are not booting, getting random freezes and/or kernel panics. at the same time, i cannot build image with older(4.14) kernel, i've tried to change build variables(KERNELBRANCH => 'tag:v4.14.81' ) so they point to last working tag, but kernel not compiles: *** buffer overflow detected ***: scripts/basic/fixdep terminated scripts/Makefile.host:114: recipe for target 'scripts/kconfig/conf.o' failed Makefile:478: recipe for target 'sunvell_r69_defconfig' failed sed: can't read .config: No such file or directory any ideas?
  3. same here, with newer kernels always get kernel panic.
  4. i see kernel 4.14.18 instead of 4.14.20 i provided. maybe you flashed wrong image.
  5. [14:42:27] [root@sunvell ~ ]# uname -a Linux sunvell 4.14.20-sunxi #1 SMP Wed Feb 21 18:01:09 UTC 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux [14:42:27] [root@sunvell ~ ]# lsblk NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT mmcblk1 179:0 0 7.3G 0 disk └─mmcblk1p1 179:1 0 7.2G 0 part / mmcblk1boot0 179:8 0 4M 1 disk mmcblk1boot1 179:16 0 4M 1 disk (this is emmc, tf card slot is empty) i uploaded image i generated that worked for me. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/76hz7lb4g0ykkjx/Armbian_5.41_Sunvell-r69_Debian_stretch_next_4.14.20.img?dl=1 try it and compile your own firmware, dont trust some random guys from internet
  6. So @TheLinuxBug confirms my temperature findings.
  7. i mean headless is server image, without gui, but with framebuffer tty console. no, i did not changed any max values. right now, staying idle on my desktop.
  8. Welcome to ARMBIAN 5.41 user-built Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.20-sunxi System load: 0.07 0.06 0.07 Up time: 13:59 hours Memory usage: 8 % of 1000MB IP: 10.250.250.78 172.24.1.1 CPU temp: 49°C Usage of /: 17% of 7.1G yes, it was compiled with build system inside vagrant. even on powersave governor on 242(or whatever it was)MHz i was getting 96C. mine display is 2560x1440, maybe this is the point. when i disconnected hdmi i got instant temperature drop. also load average was close to null all this time so i assume there was no process-eating tasks.
  9. hey! using this h2 beast, completely unusable when hdmi is connected(96C degrees), without hdmi is okay(55C). nand install, self-compiled headless debian9 image.
