  1. chrisf, I'm not sure if usbcore hosts some basic power management abilities which are independent from the general power management. What's really puzzling me is the fact that despite all general pm settings disabled, usb still autosuspends, which shouldn't be the case, imho. During my research I found a hint saying some arm dev boards have usb power management 'burned' into the firmware, independent from the kernel. Maybe this might be a point to consider...
  2. Hi folks, I've got Igor's debian stretch server image for cubietruck running, compiled sunxi kernel 4.16.0-rc1 without power management options, but can't get USB autosuspend disabled. There are a few posts regarding this issue, but they don't resolve my issue, since in the stretch system I don't have entries for /power/level or /power/control of the usb devices, it just doesn't exist. Thus I can't fix this issue setting /power/control to 'on'. /sys/bus/usb/devices/$device/power DOES NOT EXIST /sys/bus/usb/devices/$device/power/level DOES NOT EXIST /sys/bus/usb/devices/$device/power/control DOES NOT EXIST /sys/bus/usb/devices/$device/power/autosuspend DOES NOT EXIST Besides general power management options I didn't find any options regarding USB devices in the kernel config. I disabled USB_DEFAULT_PERSIST, but that didn't change my issue. Has anyone fixed that problem with this kernel and missing entries listed above ? Kind regards, Martin
