  1. I got it to work and boot from spi and nvme with this image. Many thanks!
  2. with the image from @balbes150 with efi support I got armbian to boot from spi and nvme.
  3. I can confirm that the SPI boot with NVMe is NOT working at the moment with the Jammy + XFCE image.
  4. Yes, I fortunately had one pretty decent one from my Sony Smartphone which has Quickcharge 3.0 so increased supply and this happened to work. Edit: With the hint from @blahblahblah on the Mali G610 driver I could get the graphical desktop working again, not rock solid, but good.
  5. After a package upgrade, the graphical desktop is not working anymore. Only tty is working. Seems that still a lot of work is necessary.
  6. I have been able to run armbian on a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250GB SSD. Really nice... It is though necessary to note that only a 5 Volt USB-C power supply is working with the Rock 5 Model B.
  7. Hello, please move this thread to the correct place in case I misplaced it. Does the armbian image for generic Intel/AMD x86 also support PCs with the old BIOS (non-UEFI)? I ask because I have a pretty old Notebook from 2013 which still works good as general purpose Internet or Office workhorse and this only has the old BIOS. The armbian image for the Intel/AMD looks pretty nice and I would like to install it no the Notebook eventually when Windows 10 runs out. If it does not support this, is there an image for the old BIOS? Thanks! Best regards, Udo
  8. O.k., thanks for the feedback. I will think to move to the beta kernel.
  9. Hello, I am wondering about the support of kernel-updates for the hardkernel SBCs like N2/N2+, C4 oder HC1/2. The current available kernels are pretty outdated and on level 5.10.81 or 5.4.160. Will there be soon new kernels available especially, as we are now facing the Dirty pipe exploit? Thanks! regards, Udo
  10. Hello, I am having reboot issues with my Odroid C4 running Armbian 21.08.2 Focal with kernel 5.10.60 on an eMMC card. I run the SBC headless and log in via ssh. When I issue the reboot command it shuts down but does not start up again. Does anyone know how to resolve this? It is kind of annoying to everytime cut of power and then connect the cable again. I also issues the command: nand-sata-install as recommended on the download page but this does not help. Many thanks! regards, Udo
