Hello,

I would like to ask whether any user has managed to set up any of Igor's image for playing movies (mkv, mp4, avi).

Could anyone point to an updated guide or give his own instructions?

Its not really recommended to use Allwinner A20 devices for playing movies or anything like this. If you try to get videos running on igors images (created as server image!), it will be a hard fight.

 

But the best experience for playing movies i made was with images from ikeeki. He managed to create images which can play nearly all kind of videos with acceptable performance. But dont expect too much.

Thanks a lot. I am using ikeeki's images for months and I find video perfomance almost excellent - this guy has worked against all odds. I would just like to try something else.
