Hi guys,

I am trying to connect my orangePi internet with ethernet cable but nothing works

I tried every way but still I have no internet So please help me.

Here are the solutions I tried:

1) I open the share settings from Wifi properties and connect the pi to Pc with normal ethernet cable

2)Bridge the ethernet and wifi

3) installed samba in orange pi

and I have nothing

OrangePi's ethernet leds are running but no internet

I have one last solution ,

buying a wifi module and connect to wifi with it but I have no idea about wifi modules.

Sorry for my english.

How did you connect the ethernet cable?
It has to come from your router to the Orange Pi. Not from a pc to the OPi.
If you did this correct, what image are you using on the OPi? What model is your OPi?

The issue is likely the set-up on your PC, not the armbian device.

For your PC to connect a downstream device, it needs to be configured as a router. On Linux devices that means (at least) that the "net.ipv4.ip_forward"  syscontrol is set appropriately.

information here

If your PC is a windows beast, the equivalent info is here, though I suspect that on recent windows, there is an internet sharing set-up that is equivalent, and less intrusive than regedit hacks. Don't have a windows PC to test on, sorry.
