Sorry for my english.
NicoD Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 How did you connect the ethernet cable? It has to come from your router to the Orange Pi. Not from a pc to the OPi. If you did this correct, what image are you using on the OPi? What model is your OPi?
emrec Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 My pc connected to Wifi I am trying to share Wifi internet with ethernet cable I am living in dormitary so I can't connect the cable to router I am using armbian and OrangePi PC
Shoka Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 The issue is likely the set-up on your PC, not the armbian device. For your PC to connect a downstream device, it needs to be configured as a router. On Linux devices that means (at least) that the "net.ipv4.ip_forward" syscontrol is set appropriately. information here If your PC is a windows beast, the equivalent info is here, though I suspect that on recent windows, there is an internet sharing set-up that is equivalent, and less intrusive than regedit hacks. Don't have a windows PC to test on, sorry. Harry
