lolitodubateau Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I have a Rock Pi4 B (rk3399) and I do not find the solution to use my native screen resolution with the latest kernel: 1600x1200. It was working fine with Armbian Bionic Legacy kernel 4.4. However, despite my tinkering, I do not find how to make it work with the latest kernel (option is not available in the Display Setting, xrandr manipulation did not give any success). Any pointer towards a solution would be greatly appreciated. Below the output of xrandr for the two images I ran. le51 Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Hi, same problem here with a NanoPi M4v2, works as it should with legacy 4.4 kernel but not with 5.4.14 kernel (armbian 19.11.9). I didn't investigate further as this is not my priority right now.
RussianNeuroMancer Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Same here on NanoPC-T4. While with 4.4 kernel I can set native resolution 2560x1600, with 5.3 there is no options above FullHD.
broodwich82 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I've run into bugs in console mode... refuses to output anything other than 1920x1080, including on hardware which maxes out at 720p. Sadly I've never figured out the correct incantations to pass to the kernel in the bootEnv (?) to force it to a resolution... everything I've tried just causes it to freeze completely during boot.
