Rockpi 4b and hdmi troubles @boot

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

After some time without touching it, I came back to my Rockpi 4B. I installed the latest armbian bionic image on a samsung 64Go card.

All seems to work fine for the first boot. But when I try to restart the system I don't get any display on screen. To get it back I need to unplug HDMI plug and re-plug it.

Didn't found any conversation about that trouble?

Is it a bug or is there something I can do to fix it ?

Thanks for your answers.

Pat

What image exactly are you using? Filename would be great.

The image is

Armbian Bionic
desktop legacy kernel 4.4.y

Nobody has any idea ?

Did you try testing one of the available nightlies and see if it works better for you? - there is bionic legacy desktop.

One of the main difference in the nightly is the switch to mainline u-boot.
