DevShanky Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 The latest build fails if this driver is selected to be build with the kernel. Realtek 8192E USB WiFi (RTL8192EU) [N/m/y/?] (NEW) y --> fails / m --> succeeds If 'm' or module is selected then the build succeeds. -R

Wireless drivers that have a dependency on cfg80211 require that cfg80211 and all of its dependencies be built into the kernel as well. I.e., you can't build this wireless driver into the kernel ("=y") if cfg80211 is built as a module ("=m"). 1
