cannot parse config file '/etc/fw_env.config' invalid argument when installing to emmc

I have an M8 S802 box that I am trying to install armbian to. I am using 5,44 Ubuntu bionib 3.10.108 server. I can boot with the SD card, but when I try to install to emmc I get a message saying cannot parse config file '/etc/fw_env.config' invalid argument at the end of install. After this, the TV box will only boot from SD.

 

I tried copying the fw_env.config file from my backup of android, but I still get the same results.
