Put your board back in the drawer and monitor the following link the next 12 or 24 months: http://linux-sunxi.org/Linux_mainlining_effort#Status_Matrix (nope, not kidding, A83T and H8 are pretty uninteresting SoCs and you will have to remain at 3.4 for a long time or even ever)
