Getting to better

Hey guys and gals and aliens and their pets,

 

 

What does a better single board computer look like?  What chipset does it use?  what does it do differently from past models?  I have some thoughts on this but I'd be remiss not to ask yours.  "Better" is a goal.  Need to figure out what better is, first, and then act.

Accodring to my humble opinion: better is having full documentation of the SOC on the board. (Almost) nevertheless what chip is on the board: (a sort of) reverse engineering is sadly what the community has to deal with at the moment...
