Previous OS was Raspbian and it was slow for homeserver ops. (I thing GUI was default). Nowadays, looking for a new but fast SBC. I am not interested in any video applications and components and such as Kodi, XMBC, H.265, 1080p, high resolution. I will not use it as desktop. Ä°t will serve only for my home network for DLNA server, DHCP server, Web proxy (like Squid), web filtering (SquidGuard), torrent ops. and web reporting (w/ Apache or any other). Especially web browsing is a little bit slower over Squid and Squidguard. Ä°f this is CPU, memory or any kind source issue, which SBC can be suitable for my requirements ? For example, if I buy a new one with 2 GB memory with more powerful CPU, web-surf performance boost will be observable or not ? If so, which SBC for headless usage ? Thanks.
