williamfj Posted January 17 Posted January 17 (edited) Hello everyone, I have been in this world of armbian for a year and I want to develop some projects on this OS ,and at this moment I need to record audio with h96max with rk3318 chip, the system says yes, it has analog input through the stereo plug . Is it possible to put a microphone on this board? aplay -l card 0: ANALOG [ANALOG], device 0: ff010000.i2s-rk3328-hifi rk3328-hifi-0 [ff010000.i2s-rk3328-hifi rk3328-hifi-0] Subdevices: 1/1...... arecord -D hw:0,0 -f cd -t wav -d 5 test.wav works but the output file is totally silent, using a hands-free cell phone Where can I put a microphone on the board? jock Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Hello, I don't think any tv box has a microphone or microphone header anywhere. Some SBCs instead have the microphone on-board (like some Orange Pi boards) 0 Quote

williamfj Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 The USB card is the solution, the output must be configured appropriately. but I wanted to save myself the purchase of the converter, although it is really cheap. thank you 0 Quote

This will be a better solution than using, a microphone on an SBC board (for example, orange pi). The sound quality of the USB microphone is incomparably better The USB microphone is cheap. You save time and effort than looking for where to solder the microphone terminals and the decoupling on the TV box Edited January 18 by Energokom 0 Quote
