Simple to reproduce:
Install armbian from Armbian_23.05.0-trunk_Bananapip2zero_bookworm_current_6.1.24.img
after setup make
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
System will do nothing after reboot, LED stays off

copying back kernel 6.1.24 brings it back to life again, with the rest upgraded.
