john_a Posted Tuesday at 11:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:03 PM Issue: LEDs don't work and /sys/class/leds is empty after upgrade to 24.11.3 on ROC-RK3328-CC Renegade (boot & system on eMMC.) Before upgrade, 24.11.1 had LEDs working with "firefly:blue:power" and "firefly:yellow:user" 24.11.1 had /sys/class/leds/firefly:blue:power pointing to /sys/devices/platform/leds/leds/firefly:blue:power as shown here: On this (LED working) installation BEFORE UPGRADE: " armbianmonitor -u " logging output here: https://paste.next.armbian.com/ucizofikay Note the pretty names + armbian firmware show 24.11.3, while the other packages held back to 24.11.1 by the setting in armbian-config tool. LEDs working with these packages: PRETTY_NAME="Armbian 24.11.3 bookworm" ARMBIAN_PRETTY_NAME="Armbian 24.11.3 bookworm" hi armbian-bsp-cli-renegade-current 24.11.1 arm64 Armbian CLI BSP for board 'renegade' branch 'current' ii armbian-config 25.2.0-trunk.360.0120.124904 all Armbian config: The Next Generation ii armbian-firmware 24.11.3 all Armbian - Linux firmware ii linux-base 4.9 all Linux image base package hi linux-dtb-current-rockchip64 24.11.1 arm64 Armbian Linux current DTBs in /boot/dtb-6.6.62-current-rockchip64 hi linux-image-current-rockchip64 24.11.1 arm64 Armbian Linux current kernel image 6.6.62-current-rockchip64 hi linux-u-boot-renegade-current 24.11.1 arm64 Das U-Boot for renegade ============================================= AFTER UPGRADE: LEDs don't work and /sys/class/leds is empty after Armbian kernel upgrades enabled in armbian-config and the following installs: root@renegade:~# apt list --upgradable linux-dtb-current-rockchip64/bookworm 24.11.3 arm64 [upgradable from: 24.11.1] linux-image-current-rockchip64/bookworm 24.11.3 arm64 [upgradable from: 24.11.1] AFTER UPGRADE: " armbianmonitor -u " logging output here: https://paste.next.armbian.com/arodolamag I see the trees above show "waiting on supplier" and then some generic "led-0 led-1" stuff and nothing like the "firefly*" stuff that worked before upgrade. Note that this seems reproducible whether I started with the "Armbian 24.11.1 Bookworm Minimal" or the "Armbian_24.11.1_Renegade_bookworm_current_6.6.62-omv_minimal" images. No issues booting, power is from the board supplier's 2.5A 5v adapter, flashed new SanDisk micro SD, install to eMMC following all the preparations on the armbian Getting Started page. I've had no luck playing around with this on my own, but please realize I have near-zero skill in this work. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance ! // John 0 Quote
