First, I would put most of the dependencies in "Recommends" and "Suggests" sections, otherwise people will be unable to remove non-essential packages they don't want.

 

Second, I would put something like "nodm | lightdm" so you could switch the login manager without breaking things.

 

And third, since we are discussing the desktop packages, personally I think that lightdm login dark theme looks relatively ugly (mostly you can't see element borders for user switcher dropdown menu, it's hard to read a dark font on a dark background, etc.) so maybe we should use another theme?

Or rather it should depend on "x-display-manager | nodm" (not sure why nodm doesn't "provide" x-display-manager)
