I have the NXP i.MX7Dual developer board for Android Things (ARM Cortex-A7 + M4, 512MB DDR3L, 4GB eMMC flash; you can find the reference guide here). Is it possible to run Armbian on it?

I don't think so, except if you are an experienced developer and try to port it yourself ...
