QuowLord Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I am trying to install box86 and possibly box64 on my Orange pi zero 2w. I tried using armbian-gaming as well as following the instructions found here, and attempting to build box86 with both resulted in a gcc error unrecognized command line option '-marm' Upon attempting to build box64 with the instructions, I get a make error 2, and the topmost error is a ccl error unknown value 'loongarch64' for '-march' This seems to be cross-compilation errors, but IDK what steps to take to fix it. Thanks in advance! QuowLord 0 Quote
QuowLord Posted July 13 Author Posted July 13 Apparently I'm an idiot and did not fully read the instructions linked. I had not previously copied the files as per the instructions. Doing so allowed box64 to compile most of the way, and I then ran into the issue described here. I tried deleting the file as described and that did not help. I am unsure if my rpi zero 2w will work to compile it, but I shall post an update once I test that, then try copying the file over. 0 Quote
QuowLord Posted Tuesday at 04:47 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:47 AM Copying the file over from my rpi zero 2w didn't work. I may try compiling on a different OS on the opi tomorrow to see if that will compile fully. 0 Quote
QuowLord Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Thanks! My opi zero 2w was intermittently crashing, I think I bumped a component off soldering the pin header on, so I am going to get a new one and see if it does any better. Will update in a few days once it arrives. 0 Quote
