Build custom kernel module

Hello, guys,

 

I got a third-party source code for a GPU kernel module, compatible with mainline. I need to build & install it during the Armbian build procedure. I know what to do when "Full image" is selected in configuration , i.e.  I can use customize-image-host.sh.  Is there any good way to build it when "Kernel only" mode is selected ?
