Anyone here who switched to Canonical/Ubuntu maintained kernel? I use my odroid basically as a headless server so HDMI, video decoding etc. isn't important to me.

 

Is it as simple as installing linux-image-generic or did you have to do a lot more?

Small ARM boards generally don't have UEFI support, so can't just run a generic kernel.

They're pretty dependent on board specific DTBs, which are often tied to certain kernels that are bleeding edge or heavily patched.

I think the Armbian team would love to reduce the number of images maintained.

But if you do get that working, definitely share.
