Édney Helene Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 hello there, i bought this box wich is pre rooted! i burn the image to usb, and also copy dtb.usb image to boot directory but i dont seem to be able to get into linux! I go into update and select the linux script and it reboots, but it shows an android figure saying " error" and then i have to restart back to android.. im trying to boot armibian or ubuntu or similars... So anyone got lucky installing linux into this box? i really need it thanks in advance..even libreelec would make me happy, i wanna test other Os into this! followed all tutorials on internet but no lucky =((( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rafaelSorel Posted February 26, 2018 Share Posted February 26, 2018 you need to find a dtb file that could be used with that particular box, the S905W are quite different , so with some luck, one of the dtb files for the s905x or s905 will work.
