Orange PI PC: /var/log/mail.log stop updating

I'm a newbie and I cannot solve this issue...

by typing tail -f / var/log/mail.log after some hours working the tail is not updating anymore..

to solve I have to:

1. delete mail.log file
2. create new mail.log file
3. chmod a+w /var/log/mail* 
4. service syslog restart
5. service postfix restart

but again in few hours tail -f stop updating incoming events. Moreover, if I try with tail -f / var/log/syslog or tail -f / var/log/ufw.log the same result

Any suggestion is highly appreciated..

Maybe log rotation ?

Have you tried -F instead of -f ?
