Nanopi K1 Plus 7" LCD screen

I have a Nanopi K1 Plus board and I have a 7" LCD screen.
Can my motherboard use this controller and can I connect it to my 7" LCD screen?

I do not think the K1+ has an RGB controller broken out on the gpio.  That isn't a controller hat, it's just an adapter to go from the 0.1" header to the flat cable for the LCD.
