Desktop images with Armbian Linux v6.12 variant Cinnamon with mesa/vpu support fails to boot from SD card. The message displayed on screen is "Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount ... (initramfs) _" SPI was erased, and the minimal install have no issues booting from a sd card. The SBC is an Orange Pi 5 Plus with 16gb ram

That uses a different touch controller than my screen (FT6236 vs my XPT2046).

Hi again - I have tried Armbian_25.2.0-trunk.128_Rock-5-itx_bookworm_vendor_6.1.84_gnome-backported-mesa_desktop.img.xz, the latest ROOBI, and ubuntu-24.04-preinstalled-desktop-arm64-rock-5-itx.img.xz. I have had no better results than with Armbian_24.11.1_Rock-5-itx_bookworm_vendor_6.1.75_cinnamon-backported-mesa_desktop.img.xz. Should I go looking for kernel modules, or DE issues (and I am probably over my head here, but willing to try/help out)
