Hi @stanelie, after I found the Maskrom pin and did the recovery with Multitools, I didn't test it via USB using rkdeveloptools anymore, so I didn't load the bootloader, nor did I try to restore the Android image I had backed up before! On the other ones I have, when I used rkdeveloptools, I used the rk322x_loader_v1.10.238_256.bin that's on the first page with the instructions to recover the boot! @k405, as for the network, it's working normally here, but my router is a bit old, isn't there an option on the router to configure a port for 100mbs speed?

Hi friends, I have good news, I found the Maskrom pin and managed to solve the problem with my MX10 box! By grounding the pin at boot time, it was able to boot from the sdcard and I used Multitools to burn a minimal Armbian image, after that it worked! My modified system, that uses the legacy kernel, only works the boot from sdcard, I tested it by burning the image and using the armbian-install command and it doesn't work! Even in maskrom mode the rkdeveloptool commands didn't work! These emcp memories are complicated, and this is 1.5Gb RAM and 8Gb of storage!

Hi @fabiobassa, Until recently, I thought that the TTY serial port and the SSH terminal were the same thing, just the different forms of communication! I learned how to use SSH here, it helped me a lot with remote access, which I didn't know about. A few days ago I was even trying to find out how the serial port works, even though I don't have the TTY USB adapter, I have Arduino boards here, Nano and Uno, could I use them as an adapter? Could you give a brief explanation of how it works? I'll try to do it, because just as SSH was very useful, I believe that this communication via the TTY port is more important for diagnostics! I'm grateful for the dedication of all of you who maintain this forum, thank you very much! P.S.: I'm using the oscilloscope, and I can't find the memory clock pin that enables markrom mode, and I didn't see a signal on the serial port!

@RaptorSDS, it is a eMCP (kmqn10006m-b318), in others board, that use same type chip, working no problems, in this board, do not working nothing, it is lock, red led turn on! Before use the multitools, the board do not boot from my system in sdcard, it is not a good indicator and even so i did the burning image in board, It was stupid of me! I hope find the maskrom pin, it is a new board, do not believe that i lost it! Thank by attention!

Hi everyone, i bought a MX10 tvbox, to try my system in H313 box, but the box came in is a RK3228A, so i try install my system, that working well in others rk3229 boxes, i did it how normal protocol, boot from multitools card, did it Android image backup and burned my OK image, turner off, and don't working, black screen e red led on! Do not boot from other sdcards and multiools sdcard too! I do not found the Maskrom pin, i believe to be a new board design, if anybody know this board, i do glad by help-me! Thanks!!!

Hi @Faheem, are you do it armbian install and working in this board? I use rk3228 boxes and want know more about this H313 boards, i see a mx10 with this chip in aliexpress, but before to buy, i should want sure it working linux! The H313, is it too problematic so or not? Thanks!

@RaptorSDS, it do not boot from sdcard or flash usb, i think this box is die, only enter in Mask mode, but do not working any rkdeveloptool commands to rescue it! I rememeber now, to be a emcp so the ram memory is the same chip, i do not remove it, this go to junk! Thank you by help-me!

Hi, i have a R29_5G_LP3_V1.2 that i brick it, tried reduce the partition from internal emmc, i used rkdeveloptool to fix it, and dont worked! Can i remove the emmc chip and this can work just sdcard boot? Thanks

Hi, I already use tvbox with rk3228 chipset , and now, i buyed a Orange pi zero 3, arrived yesterday, i make a card with "Armbian_23.08.0-trunk_Orangepizero3_bookworm_current_6.1.31-1GB-2GB.img.xz", this work, i don't have MicroHDMI cable, i use by SSH, I need use Debian Buster, i did image with "armbian_build-0f9820ff2238ab15fdbfef9adfefca47b031a757.zip" it's work but no audio driver ! Alsamixer don't open, no sound! The audio driver only work in last debian version? This board is new, debian buster can install audio driver? Thank you!

@Bert Kortenbach " shut down the box a few times by unplugging it", it's can corrupt file system structure, but I think you may have a hardware problem, cold soldering in BGA or even the memory has damaged sectors! These boxes do not have good manufacturing quality, you cannot trust them, so try using the system via the SDcard, if the problem still persists, it could be the chipset, then it is better to replace this box!

@Bert Kortenbach, In many attempts that I had on my box, I even thought that the memory chip had burned out! It's memory lock , I had to clean it using rkdeveloptool, the only way that worked was to first make the system run properly on the SDCARD and then use the armbian-install command, after that, the system is running on the box without problems, I make the backup with multitools, and the restoration works fine too, this image generated by this process also works normally on my older box! After a lot of work, trial and error, a lot of help from people here, everything is working fine in my boxes!
