  1. Yes, I did that, but only changing the HDMI port helped. Now I can control Kodi with my TV remote via CEC.
  2. Can you tell me if you did any additional steps to get CEC working? I installed the package you specified, Kodi detects CEC, but the remote doesn't work.
  3. Yes, I used the image, provided by Werner. I don't have 5.1 speakers, only 2.1, so I can't check, but H.264 video plays well and shows rkmpp decoder in info. I installed mesa-vulkan-drivers, configured alsa and startup as described in the guide , set KODI_AE_SINK=ALSA in the .desktop file, also installed vop.dts from royk's post. In Kodi settings I set "Allow using DRM PRIME decoder", "Allow hardware acceleration with DRM PRIME" and "Direct To Plane" as per guide.
  4. This image actually works, I have both hardware acceleration and audio, thanks.
  5. I'm very curious how you managed to make it work. With Armbian_24.11.2_Orangepi5-plus_noble_vendor_6.1.75_gnome-kisak_desktop, hardware video acceleration works fine for me, but HDMI audio doesn't work, and with Armbian_24.8.1_Orangepi5-plus_noble_vendor_6.1.75_gnome-kisak_desktop, Kodi only shows a black screen instead of the main menu and spams error <general>: CDRMAtomic::DrmAtomicCommit - atomic commit failed: Invalid argument in the logs.
  6. I tried running Kodi in gbm standalone, using Armbian_24.2.3_Orangepi5-plus_jammy_vendor_6.1.43_minimal image, kernel with VOP2 patch, panfork-mesa repo from @amazingfate , rockchip-multimedia repo from @Spooky Usual settings in Kodi: DRM PRIME decoder and Direct to plane. When playing a video there is a black screen, judging by the overlay the Rockchip decoder is used. There is an error in the Kodi logs: error <general>: CVideoLayerBridgeDRMPRIME::Map - failed to add fb 0, ret = -22 debug <general>: ffmpeg[0xaaaadf8b7bb0]: [h264_rkmpp] Decoder could not get packet, retrying debug <general>: ffmpeg[0xaaaadf8b7bb0]: [h264_rkmpp] Wrote 107 bytes to decoder debug <general>: ffmpeg[0xaaaadf8b7bb0]: [h264_rkmpp] Received a frame
