[ADD support for a new board]

Hi,

 

I'm porting  trusty on imx53 ConnectCore board  and I wonder what I should change in order to use lib with this card.

I have an ubuntu that works.

 

note : kernel is too old : 2.6.35 but i have source code.

Hi,

I have the same problem as you. Have you advance or abandoned?

I think for this to work you must change  script.bin in order to setup an output pin.

to configure the module it is possible to add this line in modules.conf

lirc_gpio gpio_out_pin=1

This'll load modules automatically at boot and select the output pin.

 

I'm currently trying the modules with LEDs on the board before using an infrared LED because it allows me not to add hardware.

I plan to turn my cubietruck IR gateway, and home theater controller.

The first thing to do is to be able to decode any remote control can be used with lircmd. But when I use irrecord IRW returns do anything with some remote and works with the other.
While in leaving the base configuration (infrared keyboard) there is always something to send.

Hi,

U-boot cannot boot kernell zImage (compressed image) but only uImage.

 

I dont know do with other file boot.cmd boot.scr

 

I change path in uEnv.txt but y have only a black screenand nothing else.

HI,

On my cubietruck I can boot form sd card my filesysteme on SATA. But y can't boot form nand.

I must use kernel 3.4.108 because alsa spdif pass trought do not work on 3.4.109.

I can't use nand install script because it formating sata drive.

I try to compil module from http://github.com/matzrh/sunxi-lirc.

 

I updated my cubietruck to trusty with 3.4.109 kernel but y not find kernel header. Where is?
