  1. Hello, i can't hear any audio out of my cubietruck. This is my system: root@cubietruck:~# uname -a Linux cubietruck 3.4.109-sun7i #4 SMP PREEMPT Sun Oct 11 14:32:15 CEST 2015 armv 7l GNU/Linux root@cubietruck:~# lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. It works so far: root@cubietruck:/home/cubieserver/Musik/mp3/DeepPurple-TheHouseofBlueLight# mpv Strangeways.mp3 [input/#1] Failed to read LIRC config file ~/.lircrc. Playing: Strangeways.mp3 [libav/demuxer] mp3: max_analyze_duration 5000000 reached [stream] Audio (+) --aid=1 (mp3) File tags: encoder: LAME3.99r title: Strangeways album: The House of Blue Light TYER: 1999-06-22 track: 8/10 artist: Deep Purple AO: [alsa] 44100Hz stereo 2ch s16 A: 00:01:03 / 00:05:58 (17%) But there is nothing to hear neither with my earphones at the jack nor on HDMI. I think LIRC is not necessary. Whats wrong? Thanks in advance Dirk
  2. Hi Bomilkar, sorry, i have tried a lot but with legacy i could'nt enable VGA. After testing the different images i decided to use Legacy Jessy Server. I dismissed VGA and instead of that i helped myself with openssh on the CT and with putty on my windows-PC. So a least i have a terminal.
  3. Thanks a lot. I will try VGA-Output with Legacy.
  4. Hi, i am new here and like to say hello. On my new cubietruck I have one after another tried to install and use wheezy and jessie with legacy and vanilla kernels. With the legacy versions i failed because there seemed to be no video-output on VGA from the kernel. The boot-process seemed to be stopped after Starting Kernel. Then i found that it was visible on HDMI but not on VGA. Because I have only VGA-Screen on my desk i went on with vanilla jessie. But on the download-page there is the note "No audio or accelarated video". What does it mean in detail? I installed mplayer but in fact there is no sound at the jack. Isn't therefore any driver available? Which Task ist more easy to solve and how? - VGA-Output from the kernel with legacy or - Sound with vanilla My goal is to use Kodi and fhem. Which image will be constructive? Thanks a lot in advance. Dirk
