-
1.7 & 2.2 is the upper limit perhaps ...but it crashed after a while :-(

does weird things to thunar thumbnails, so no
-
According to https://linux-sunxi.org/Optimizing_system_performance adding export XDG_CACHE_HOME="/dev/shm/.cache" to /etc/alternatives/x-session-manager does some good to desktop performance.

If it is entropy, is haveged running? I found that on kernel >5 it needs --data-16 in /etc/default/haveged DAEMON_ARGS to run -
my vote goes to Magicsee N6 Max https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Magicsee-N6-Max-TV-Box-Android-7-1-Rockchip3399-4GB-DDR4-32GB-5G-WiFi-1000Mbps-LAN/32950019335.html
-
The reason I'm asking is this https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bCPG1Et2 Might be a typo or a mistake but if we can confirm Armbian works on it, I'm willing to put in an order
-
I got my Magicsee-N6-Max for $82.99 on AliExpress runs Armbian 5.91 like a champ so far. Only thing that doesn't work is bluetooth
-
perhaps with the sd card & usb stick it will boot, like the T9

https://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_1667603.html RK3399 4GB ram Anyone had any luck running Armbian on this?
-
https://yadi.sk/d/ie_dx5x_w2xUIQ/LINUX/ARMBIAN/5.91/dev Does it have the magicsee-n6-max dtb?
-
/var/log/syslog and dmesg has a whole bunch of these messages: wl_run_escan: LEGACY_SCAN sync ID: nnn, bssidx: 0 where nnn incerments by one Is this normal when wi-fi is enabled?
-
Magicsee-n6-max Armbian_5.89_Rk3399-tv_Ubuntu_bionic_default_4.4.154_desktop_20190627 Bluetooth paired with my phone, played youtube on the phone -> n6 locked up requiring reboot. Now can't detect phone anymore. Think I'll turn off bluetooth, don't need it.

After latest update of armbian-firmware, wlan works out of the box
-
https://androidpctv.com/amlogic-s905x3-ready/ We are getting s905x3 now?
-
replaced /lib/frmware/brcm in 5.88 from that in 5.86 -> wireless networks detected but can't connect yet connected to wlan with gnome-keyring-daemon running :-) fixed Armbian_5.89_Rk3399-tv_Ubuntu_bionic_default_4.4.154_desktop_20190627 as well
-
Wlan works on Armbian_5.86_Rk3399-tv_Ubuntu_bionic_default_4.4.154_desktop_20190517. What has changed between the versions? dtbs are identical lots of lines in dmesg [WLAN_RFKILL]: wifi turn on power. -1
