  1. Hello! I`m very new on how SBC`s work, and wanna know if there`s some way to fix this situation: My audio is not actually being reproduced via the HDMI connection between my TV and my Orange Pi [Orange Pi 4 LTS]. I took a brief look at the solutions/instructions on the documentation page ((https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Fine-Tuning/#sound-output)), such as: # Check the available sound output options: pacmd list-sinks | less # The default will be marked with "*" # Press "q" to close # Define the new default sound output pacmd set-default-sink <NAME-OF-DESIRED-OPTION> but i only got this, and as far as i could test, it serves no use to my ends: 1 sink(s) available. * index: 4 name: <auto_null> driver: <module-null-sink.c> flags: DECIBEL_VOLUME LATENCY DYNAMIC_LATENCY state: RUNNING suspend cause: (none) priority: 1000 volume: front-left: 65536 / 100% / 0.00 dB, front-right: 65536 / 100% / 0.00 dB balance 0.00 base volume: 65536 / 100% / 0.00 dB volume steps: 65537 muted: no current latency: 1.92 ms max request: 0 KiB max rewind: 0 KiB monitor source: 4 sample spec: s16le 2ch 44100Hz channel map: front-left,front-right Stereo used by: 1 linked by: 1 configured latency: 2.51 ms; range is 0.50 .. 2000.00 ms module: 31 properties: device.description = "Dummy Output" device.class = "abstract" device.icon_name = "audio-card" any workaround, or proper solution to this issue? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello community! Orange pi 4 LTS with Armbian 22.11 Jammy CLI, there is a problem with launching the screen with resolutions: 1024x600 - there is no image 1024x768 - the image is there, there are ripples 1920x1080 - everything is fine Tell me how to solve this problem. uname -a Linux orangepi4-lts 5.15.80-rockchip64 #22.11.1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Nov 30 11:12:47 UTC 2022 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux /boot/armbianEnv.txt verbosity=1 bootlogo=false overlay_prefix=rockchip fdtfile=rockchip/rk3399-orangepi-4-lts.dtb rootdev=UUID=72cc3f82-2e76-4495-99fd-8cc46a4a21db rootfstype=ext4 usbstoragequirks=0x2537:0x1066:u,0x2537:0x1068:u Link: armbianmonitor 1024x600 Link: armbianmonitor 1024x768
  3. When i run from sdcard on first boot it asks a series of questions and sets up the sd card. Image from here: https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-4-lts/ I then run ambian-install to install to emmc, then reboot. At this point it asks for a login, and the default (root 1245) doesnt work, or the ones i created on the sd card do not work! How can i login to the device after install and configure it?
  4. I'm using a kernel built from sources as there's another bug which the github sources resolve. The bundled kernel with the OS image does not kernel panic. (However this image only has around a 5% chance of mounting any nvme drive) Output: Dump from 'armbianmonitor -U' https://tmpfiles.org/dl/314994/dump.txt.tar (The Armbian self-hosted system seems to be a bit moody when it wants to work)
  5. Hi, I'm someone who's suffering with an unreliable pcie nvme upon booting. Apparently there was a patch for this issue. Unfortunately the whole time I've owned this device - doing a kernel update via armbian-config will just stop your device from booting and even outputting to the display. Is there a repo just with the precompiled kernels in .deb form?
  6. Hi ChecMate, Just FYI I am seeing the same thing on an Orange Pi 4 LTS that I am setting up, what worked for me was to unplug the keyboard to let the boot start, then plug it in later. I tried 2 keyboards and both USB 2 & 3 ports, and the problem is consistent, if I boot with the kb plugged in the HDMI remains dead. Franck
  7. I installed the image on the SD card put the games in the roms folder correctly. I don't know why I have no sound in games. put it on two different smart tv's and both are without audio in games. Has anyone here experienced this and know how to solve it?
  8. Hi, does anyone know how to get hardware video acceleration on orange 4 lts? I've looked around and I saw that rk3399's multimedia support can be enabled using the rk3399 legacy multimedia framework. But that requires a legacy buster image, which doesn't exist for the orange pi. I've tried to compile it myself, but it seems the compile script won't allow it. Is it really impossible to compile a legacy kernel for orange pi 4 lts?
  9. Hello! I would like to connect orangepi-4-lts to ili9341. 10. Hello, i recently recieved my orange pi 4 lts and the idea was to use it a both media server and SmartTV features replacement. Sadly, using browsers to play Kinopoisk (russian streaming service) was a flop, no browser i tried can use or implement Wadevine decently. I tried Vivaldi, Firefox and Chromium/ How do you it with Netflix, if you do it at all. Any advice, what can i do?
  11. Hi everyone, After migrating to a nvme ssd using the recommended official adapters, I've run into this issue. (Been really frustrating not been able to boot reliably, replug it until it works) Before I migrated, if I went fdisk -l it would start flashing and always show up. It's only when booting, it seems to be unable to boot/stay on most of the time. 1) I put power into pi. 2) The ssd blinks, if it stops blinking, it didn't boot. If it keeps blinking success. Is there a way to delay mounting the ssd or better debug this issue?
  12. Hello. I downloaded Armbian 22.05 Jammy XFCE for Desktop. When I boot up my Orange Pi 4 LTS everything looks good. The first problem was a Wi-Fi 5G password (system dont recognize my password), only 2.4G works. The second problem (and the main problem) was a display - when X start, my display turn off (I have HDMI-connection). What I am doing wrong?
  13. I've installed the OPI 4 image awhile ago for my PI as that was the only one available. I've since installed just the kernel targeting this model. Is there a way I can ensure future kernel updates will look for the lts model? Thank you. (Also the topic tags are missing the 4lts model as of this moment)
  14. Is it possible to enable support for this device? I flashed this device with Orange Pi 4 firmware, but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth do not work there.
  15. Hello, I am interested in armbian for OPi 4 LTS Are there any documentation on how can I add support for this board? I'va seen that OPi 3 LTS was added recently (in beta?) Maybe I can do the simular as the only change is bt/wf and cpu/gpu Regards
