  1. Hi all, today I tried ubuntu xenial (dev) with kernel 4.9.4 for OrangePi Plus2. seems to work fine, but the screen resolution is 3840x2160. That is cool but a smaller resulution would be better. I tryed to change the screen settings over Settings -> Display, but it is not possible to change the values there. I also tried it with: sudo h3disp, but it is not installed on my system. What is the best way to change the screen res?
  2. After upgrading my armbian (orange pi pc plus and Orange Pi Plus 2) today, Orange Pi PC Plus mac address changes to 6a:59:53:1a:4d:c1 from AA:0A:75:AD:D2:CE. 7. Hi everyone, First of allm thank you for all the stuff on your site / forum, I recently decided to give a try to an orange pi board, and chose the orange pi plus. I have downloaded and installed the raw file of jessie desktop found on the site, and then tried to launch it. At the first startup, I had a message about my ethernet connector, gmac probed... no PHY... and then the process continue, the card shut down. I unplug/plug in the power supply, and then the board correctly boot up, and I was able to log in. The wifi is working fine (I use it now), but I don't have the ethernet connection. The ethernet cable is plug in, my ISP's router has a DHCP server (all my other devices in ethernet have an IP address), but there is no led on on the ETH port. I use the ethernet cable of my desktop computer who gets an IP by the DHCP server. When I try ifconfig : but with -a option : I tried to turn in on : If someone has a clue about that, it would be great ! Regards,
  8. I can't set Orange Pi Plus 2 clock speed to 1.54Ghz. Please fix it
  9. Hi. First, thanks for Armbian! 11. I built the newest image Armbian_5.24_Orangepiplus_Debian_jessie_3.4.113_desktop.img to work with my opi+2 board. I need 1280x1024 resolution and it works perfectly. However wifi connection keep asking password, but it worked well with Armbian_5.20_Orangepiplus_Debian_jessie_3.4.112_desktop.img. It's weird that wifi scanning worked well, just failed to connect. How do I fixed this problem? thx
  12. Hello, I just installed the incredible Armbian on my OrangePiPlus. I can't find the EMMC Boot script nan-sata-install. Has something changed in the past I didn't noticed? with regards

  15. On a previous build (and separate board), I have both wlan0 and wlan1 showing up as wireless interfaces on my OrangePi+ board. I have since upgraded the image on a new board, and now I only see wlan0. The software I've written for the board relies on having both wireless interfaces present, however, I'm not sure how to get the other one to show up. I've performed the apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, and then installed the image to EMMC. I've basically got a fresh image, and I'm unsure what I need to do next in order to get the wireless adapters to show up properly. Can someone help me out? Thank you!

  21. Hi, I tryied a few times to run a RT kernel I built from https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib as discribed in Armbian documentation and as in https://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic/1950-orange-pi-pc-plus-armbian-guitarix-guitar-effectprocessor/page-2#entry16460. When executing compile.sh script it patch nice and good, then asks for Preemption Model and I chose 5 for Full Realtime. But when running the kernel into OrangePi it stucks in Starting Kernel. U-boot output: I am not choosing 1-4 for preemption model because I don't know if it will end up as an realtime kernel. The update from the older kernel to the rt one was done by dpkg -i on the deb files from the output/deb folder generated by Igor Pecovnik's scripts.
  22. Hi everyone, i've been building a new distirbution based on armbian 5.2 server, on it has been compilled freepbx 13 and asterisk 13, i've added a webmin frontend for server management. It's my first apportation, i'm not a pro, but i wanted to share it with the community. The password for root is: "Armbian" The password for the user admin on freepbx is: "admin" In order to mount the image you need at least a 8gb sd card Here is the link to the download: https://mega.nz/#!eZ1gCKKY!UguIUAi-xa6K6iXXj37EZPFedgzCPdnSEQDBuoT3xRo (remember this image is for orange pi plus)* Finally, if you want to resize the partition toget all the space available on your disk, use this command: update.rc firstrun defaults Well, thanks for reading, and i hope it can be of some use to all of us.
  23. Good evening. I've just installed Armbian in a OPI +2, in a 32 Gb card. The OPI is connected by LAN to my router, in the same way the PC I am using to write this message is. But "Wicd Entwork Manager" says : - "not connected" after "Obtaining IP address" if using wire-default profile. - "done connecting" after "setting IP address " id using a fix IP address setting profile, but in fact, there is no connection. Has anybody faced something like this ? Any idea ? Best regards. maesstrissimo
